Why We Do What We Do

The Great Commandment

To love God and to love people: this is the foundational motive behind all our ministries and the ultimate goal of all our outreach. Loving and honouring God is the starting point of all that we do because our priority is the glory of God, not the success of our ministry. The chief end of Every Nation Church is always to “love God and to enjoy Him forever.” That is why we do what we do.

"Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

— Matthew 22:37-40

How Do We Do It?

The Great Commission

By making disciples who: grow spiritually, reach the lost and lead in all walks of life.

"Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’"

— Matthew 28:18-20

What Do We Do?

The Dominion Mandate

We transform society: This is the divine mandate for our church. Our God is the sovereign ruler of the universe and His Kingdom is destined to invade every nation, every people group and every redeemable institution on earth. We believe society is transformed primarily through the church because the church has been given the keys of the Kingdom of God. The church’s primary means of changing the world is by making disciples that will influence every area of society – the business world, entertainment industry, educational institutions, government and the family. Therefore our primary activity is to transform society by making disciples.

"God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

— Genesis 1:28
